Solar panel dispute: 

There was a photo of a solar panel at an angle as part of an ad for a solar panel installation company "A Shade Greener" (ASG) in 2013. 

These folks came to the belief that if the solar panels were 5 times longer than they are wide (5:1), then this would make an unconventional projective geometry idea of theirs seem less implausible. 

However, all the evidence says that they are twice as long as they are wide (2:1) and not 5:1.
